Dr. Don Drew, professor of business management and dean of graduate studies at Oklahoma Christian, has been on campus for almost a week working with a group that is assisting with the work of an area congregation.

On Monday afternoon, June 1, Dr. Drew took time out from the manual labor to lead the Baxter faculty through a strategic planning exercise focused on values, vision, and veracity. The meeting began with informal conversation and lunch. When the planning session concluded a little after 5 p.m. the faculty expressed their gratitude to Dr. Drew for his help and to the board of directors for wanting to know what the faculty was thinking about the possibilities and challenges.

The faculty and employees of Baxter have also been encouraged to complete a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis. Based on the analyses received so far, they are clearly up to the challenge of helping define the goals and the future of the Baxter.
