On Monday, June 1, Steve and Jeanne White returned to the U.S., concluding five years of ministry in Honduras. The students presented them a signed Baxter shirt in devotional, followed by hugs and expressions of love and appreciation. After devotional, it was time to go to the airport.

The students were dismissed from classes to go the airport. (Saying thank you, hello, and good-bye are very important in the culture.) It was an emotional moment to see so many students and faculty and staff at the airport.

Eventually the 10 pieces of luggage were checked and the good-byes were said one last time. Of course, it was not a final good-bye because Steve and Jeanne will certainly return from time to time as they continue to love and serve the people of Honduras.
