NEWS: Nortons Arrive Back in Honduras Safely

The campus community is overjoyed that Howard and Jane returned to campus safely yesterday. This challenging time in the history of Honduras and Latin America accentuates the need for the work being done through the Clinic and the Institute. Howard said, "Those who are suffering most in this situation are the Honduran people. I hurt for them in the midst of uncertainty and suffering."

Howard and Jane are almost settled into the apartment and have been very busy since their return to campus with numerous conversations, appointments, and activities. Howard writes, "We are enjoying being with Calvin and Linda. They are beloved and have done a good job while here."

Anticipation is high for the future and what God will do to serve others through humble hearts, caring hands, and loving words. Please pray for the work at the Clinic and at Baxter. Pray for the employees and for the students. Pray for the churches and Christians all across Latin America and especially in Honduras during these days. Pray for the churches and Christians who help support these works in the midst of difficult economic times. Pray for the spread of the good news of Jesus through the incarnation of his presence—in providing medical services, benevolent care for the poor, and the Good News of the Gospel for all!
